Metals Engineering Projects
WebTrain was used as the platform for a Round
1 ANTA Toolbox in Metals Engineering. Content, Assessment, Multimedia,
and Tools for Students, Tutors and Administrators were written as
part of this Toolbox.
The site created was:
ANTA
ToolBox site
Over 2000 students throughout Australia used
this site for some 3 years. A good mixture of TAFE's, private RTO's
and Secondary schools used the resource.
About the middle of 2002, it became apparent that
we had to produce another site to handle student numbers. This was
done and another 500 or so students around Australia have used it.
This site became:
Australian
Metals site
Early 2003, it became apparent that these two
sites were not coping with student numbers from two states (Tasmania
and West Australia) so we created new sites for each state.
They became:
West
Australian Metals
Tasmania Metals
Queensland Metals
Victoria Metals
South Australia Metals
Northern Territory/ACT
Metals
New South
Wales Metals
About the middle of 2003, we began to create sites
for individual organisations to use as their own. To date, eleven have been completed.
